Moroscos Antiques and Collectibles has been working in the Antique business since 1976, and selling online since 2008.
There are no absolutes in the grading of Antiques & Collectibles. I do my best to make note of the most significant damage in the Condition Description, and to add high quality photos to every listing.
Some degradation is to be expected with age, and more wear on items that would have been used heavily, like primitives. Manufacturer flaws can also be common with older or hand made items. I grade items accordingly. You have higher expectations from a porcelain vase than a copper kettle.
Some collectors are looking for items in perfect condition, others just want to possess a rare item. For this reason the only person who can really determine the condition is the collector.
